Noticed a couple shingles looking a bit wonky after that last storm we had. Climbed up there (carefully, mind you, heights aren't exactly my thing) and saw it's not too bad, just a few shingles loose and one small area where water might be sneaking in. I'm thinking this shouldn't be a huge job, but honestly, I've never had to deal with roof stuff before.
Called one place and they threw out a number that seemed kinda high for what looks like a pretty small fix. But then again, I don't wanna be the guy who cheaps out and ends up with a bigger mess down the road, you know? So I'm wondering if anyone's had something similar done recently and could give me a ballpark on what's reasonable. Or maybe tips on how to tell if I'm getting ripped off? I'm all ears.
