A few years ago, I chose the synthetic option while everything is holding up, although it’s even shorter than yours - only 5 years. No problems with leaks or mold yet. I wonder what material you used?
Synthetic's definitely the way to go, good call. Regular underlayment is like cheap socks—fine at first, but falls apart fast. Glad yours is holding up...mine's around 6 years now, zero issues so far. Fingers crossed!
