Switching from RO to UF membranes made my life way easier

I hear you on the chalky buildup. When I moved in here, I thought my kettle was just old, but turns out it’s the water. I switched to UF too because waiting for RO to fill a pot was like watching paint dry. The white crust is annoying, but I haven’t noticed any actual damage—just more scrubbing. My buddy runs both systems (he’s got a tiny RO tap for drinking), but honestly, my under-sink area is already a game of Tetris with all the junk down there. Vinegar does help, but I usually forget until it looks like a science experiment.
