Yeah, I’ve tried the bathtub trick too and still ended up finding clippings in the hallway days later. I think they just launch themselves at weird angles no matter what. Static’s a pain, but honestly, sometimes I wonder...

Couldn’t agree more. I’ve seen too many “hail-proof” roofs fail because someone cheaped out on flashing or skipped ice & water shield in valleys. Also, I’m with you on silicone boots - those plastic ones are garbage ...
