Just got our new roof installed with Tamko shingles in Rustic Slate, and honestly, I'm pretty thrilled with how it turned out. Took forever deciding, you know how it goes, but the color matches our siding way better than I expected. Anyone else had luck finding just the right shade?

We went through something similar last year—ended up with Tamko shingles too, but in Thunderstorm Grey. Took us ages to narrow it down, comparing samples at different times of day, different weather...you name it. Funny thing is, the color looked totally different once it was actually up on the roof. Did you find the Rustic Slate matched the samples pretty closely, or did it surprise you a bit once installed?
