favorite Tamko shingle colors - what's yours?
Been looking at Tamko shingles lately, and man, picking a color is harder than I thought. I kinda lean towards the rustic black, but my wife thinks weathered wood looks way better. Um, figured I'd toss up a quick poll to see what you guys think. Which Tamko shingle color do you prefer for your roof?

Weathered Wood would be my pick from those two. Its mixed brown tones should be more forgiving of dust, leaves, and minor fading than Rustic Black, which can show light debris and color changes more clearly.
Weathered Wood may hide dust and leaves better, but I’d compare full-size shingle samples before deciding. Small color chips can look substantially different in daylight, especially next to the home’s siding and neighboring roofs. Rustic Black may work well on some exteriors, while Weathered Wood can look noticeably warmer or busier than expected.
Tree cover and sun exposure can affect what stands out: nearby trees may mean more visible leaf litter or shade, while a sunnier roof slope may make color changes easier to notice. Neither tells you which color will last longer, but those exposures may be worth considering when comparing the colors.
