Saw a news piece yesterday about a guy whose fridge broke down after just 6 months, and the company refused to fix it under warranty because apparently power surges aren't covered. Like, seriously? Who even reads all those tiny fine print details anyway... I know I don't. Makes me wonder how many other sneaky loopholes companies hide in their warranties. Has anyone else had something similar happen or heard of weird warranty exceptions like this?
