Why does cleaning up nail clippings always turn into a scavenger hunt?

It’s kind of like trying to keep leaves off a roof—no matter what you do, there’s always one stubborn one that gets away.

That’s the truth. I swear, nail clippings have a mind of their own. I’ve tried clipping over a trash can, but somehow they still manage to ricochet across the floor. The damp towel trick helps, but sometimes I forget and end up crawling around looking for strays. Ever tried clipping outside? I did it once on my porch—felt weird, but at least I didn’t have to chase them down after. Wonder if anyone’s found a way to keep them from flying off in the first place...
