Why does cleaning up nail clippings always turn into a scavenger hunt?

That’s the truth. I swear, nail clippings have a mind of their own. I’ve tried clipping over a trash can, but somehow they still manage to ricochet across the floor. The damp towel trick helps, but sometimes I forget and end up crawling around looking for strays. Ever tried clipping outside?
