I hear you—condensation on the nails isn’t always “just winter.” I’ve seen plenty of attics where a tiny gap around a can light or bath fan made all the difference. Even with baffles and cellulose, if the air’s sneaking in, you’ll get frost. Midwest homes are especially tricky... I always tell folks, air sealing first, then worry about venting. Otherwise, you’re just moving the problem around.
