Think my roof might be in trouble after all that ice buildup

Last winter was brutal around here, and I thought I was being smart by knocking down some of those icicles hanging from the gutters. But now that spring's finally here, I'm noticing some weird stuff going on with my roof and ceilings. There's these weird water stains showing up in the corners of a couple rooms upstairs, kinda yellowish-brownish spots that weren't there before. And one spot even feels a little soft when I press on it - definitely wasn't like that last year.

Also, outside I've noticed some shingles looking a bit warped or lifted up near the edge of the roofline. Not sure if that's related or just normal wear and tear...but it's got me worried. I've heard people talk about ice dams causing damage, but honestly never paid much attention to it until now (typical me, right?).

Anyway, has anyone else had something similar happen after a harsh winter? Wondering if this is something serious enough to call someone out to look at or if I'm just being paranoid. Roof repairs aren't exactly cheap, so hoping it's not too bad...

Sounds like classic ice dam trouble to me. Had something similar happen a few years back - those stains and soft spots usually mean water got under the shingles and into the attic insulation. Did you check your attic yet for damp insulation or mold?
