Every year around this time, I swear I'm gonna get ahead of the game and prep my roof properly before winter hits. But somehow, I always end up scrambling last minute, freezing my fingers off trying to clear gutters and patch up shingles. Honestly, it's like the roof knows I'm procrastinating and decides to punish me, lol. Does anybody else dread this seasonal chore or am I just being dramatic here?
"Honestly, it's like the roof knows I'm procrastinating and decides to punish me, lol."
Haha, I swear mine does the same thing. Last year I finally got proactive and cleaned the gutters early...then a storm blew half the shingles off anyway. Maybe roofs just enjoy messing with us?
Haha, maybe it's not the roof that's messing with us, but our timing? I procrastinated last year, did nothing at all...and weirdly enough, no issues. Maybe roofs reward laziness sometimes.
