So I was up on a ladder yesterday trying to clean out the gutters (they were pretty nasty, trust me), and halfway up I got that weird dizzy feeling... you know, like "maybe this isn't a great idea" kinda feeling. At what point do you guys decide it's just better to call someone else?

Yeah, I've been there myselfβ€”ladder wobbling a bit, head spinning slightly... that's usually my cue to bail. Honestly, for me, it depends on the height and complexity. Single-story gutter cleaning? Sure, I'll tackle it carefully. But anything higher than that or if the ladder doesn't feel rock-solid stable, it's just not worth risking injury. Learned that after my neighbor fell last yearβ€”nothing serious thankfully, but it definitely made me rethink my limits.
