RE: just read about roof issues popping up after winter - are you checking yours?
That’s actually kind of reassuring to hear, in a weird way. I’ve been eyeing those green roof setups but worried about the maintenance side - your story makes me feel less crazy for hesitating. I get the appeal of someth...
RE: Thinking about replacing my roof - are shingles really worth it?
I’m in the same boat - first house, and the shingle options are kind of overwhelming. Honestly, seeing how fast my parents’ “fancy” shingles faded made me rethink spending extra. Regular ones seem to do the job, but I’m ...
RE: What would you do if your flat roof kept leaking but you couldn’t find the source?
That’s wild - never thought about squirrels being the culprit. I’ve been chasing a leak in my own flat roof for weeks now, and honestly, it’s driving me nuts. I keep patching spots but water just finds a new way in. Star...

RE: Roofing that stands up to wild weather - anyone tried this?
That’s reassuring to hear your ice and water shield actually did its job. I’m still learning the ropes with all this stuff, but it’s wild how much difference those “extra” layers make when the weather gets weird. I keep ...
RE: LOOKING FOR GOOD PLACES TO BUY METAL ROOFING SHEETS
I've wondered about touching up sheets too, but honestly, matching colors perfectly seems tricky - especially if the sheet's been sitting around awhile and faded a bit. Might end up more noticeable than the scratch itsel...
