We just finished replacing our old asphalt shingles with a metal roof that's supposed to be fire-resistant. Honestly, I didn't realize how much peace of mind it would give me until it was done. Plus, it looks pretty sharp (wife even agrees, miracle lol). Curious if anyone else has switched to a roof like this and noticed any unexpected perks or benefits?
