Been seeing more and more talk lately about solar shingles instead of regular panels. Honestly, I like the idea of them blending in with the roof better, cause traditional panels can look kinda clunky sometimes. But I'm wondering how much of a pain it actually is to get them installed. I've heard mixed things—some people say it's pretty straightforward, others say it's way more complicated and expensive than regular solar panels.

So quick poll here—if you've gone solar (or seriously considered it), would you rather:

A) Stick with traditional solar panels—cheaper, quicker install, but kinda bulky looking
B) Go for solar shingles—even if it means a longer install time and higher upfront cost, cause aesthetics matter
C) Honestly don't care either way, just whatever saves me money long-term

Personally I'm leaning toward B but still on the fence... you know how it is when something sounds good but then reality hits and you're stuck with workers on your roof for weeks lol. Curious what others think.
