Solar Panels on Roofs (Installation & Maintenance)

Been going back and forth on this one. Roof's about 15 yrs old, shingles look decent but not perfect. Got a solar company lined up for panels in a couple months, and I'm wondering if it's smarter to just bite the bullet now and replace shingles first, or wait til they're really worn out down the line. Anyone been through this dilemma? Curious what you'd do and why.
