I've been reading up on solar setups lately, and I'm kinda stuck between two ideas. One is just pointing the panels directly south at a fixed angle, which seems simple and reliable, low-maintenance, ya know? The other is using one of those trackers that follow the sun from east to west throughout the day. Seems like trackers could squeeze out more power, but then again, more moving parts means more stuff that can break or need maintenance down the line. Anyone tried both? Which do you prefer and why?

Have you considered your local weather patterns? Trackers definitely boost output, but if you're in an area prone to storms, snow, or heavy winds, the simplicity of fixed panels might save you headaches down the line...
