Haha, your story reminds me of when we redid our roof a few years back. We went with felt underlayment, and wouldn't you know it, a storm blew through overnight. Woke up to find half our materials scattered across the yard and driveway—neighbors probably thought we were redecorating the neighborhood. After that fiasco, synthetic was a no-brainer for us too. Definitely saves some awkward conversations and cleanup headaches down the road...

Haha, sounds like you had quite the adventure there... I've seen that happen more times than you'd think—felt underlayment can be a real gamble with unpredictable weather. Synthetic definitely holds up better in those surprise storms. Glad you made the switch; it'll save you a lot of headaches down the line. Live and learn, right?

Totally agree—synthetic underlayment is a solid upgrade. Felt tends to wrinkle and tear easily, especially if you're working solo or dealing with windy conditions. Learned that the hard way myself... synthetic just makes the whole roofing process smoother and less stressful.

Haha, same here—felt underlayment was my nemesis on a windy day. Synthetic's definitely easier, plus it holds up way better if you get delayed by weather (or procrastination... guilty).

Haha, felt underlayment on a windy day... been there, done that, chased it halfway down the street. Synthetic definitely makes life easier. I remember one time I got delayed (okay, procrastinated) and left synthetic exposed for weeks—still held up like a champ. Felt would've shredded itself into confetti by then. Glad I'm not the only one who's learned roofing lessons the hard way...
