I learned this neat trick from my neighbor—grab a pair of binoculars and look at your roof shingles from the ground. Saves climbing up there and risking your neck, lol. Curious if anyone else has easy hacks for checking shingles?

Haha, that's actually pretty clever. Another quick trick I've used is snapping a few pics with my phone camera zoomed in—then I just blow them up on the screen to check for cracks or missing shingles. Not perfect, but it beats hauling out the ladder every time...especially if you're as clumsy as me.
