I get the static thing, but honestly, I think the paper towel trick is more hassle than it’s worth. Every time I try it, I end up just smearing the clippings around or missing half of them. What’s worked better for me is clipping over a sheet of printer paper—just fold it up and dump the whole mess in the trash. Not perfect, but at least I’m not chasing bits across the floor. Maybe it’s just my luck, but vacuums always seem to make it worse... especially if there’s any static at all.
