Been looking into options for replacing my roof soon, and stumbled across these roofing systems that apparently integrate HVAC functions right into the roof itself. Sounds kinda futuristic, but also a bit gimmicky, you know? Like, is this actually practical or just another fancy tech thing that'll cost me a fortune and break down in two years?

I mean, I get the appeal—saving space, maybe better energy efficiency, and it looks cleaner without bulky units everywhere. But I'm skeptical about maintenance and reliability. Has anyone here actually installed something like this or know someone who has? Curious if it's worth the investment or if I'm better off sticking with traditional roofing and separate HVAC units.

Any insights or experiences would be super helpful before I dive deeper into this rabbit hole.
