Gotta back you up on the Kynar finish—I've installed plenty over the years, and the difference really shows after 5-10 years. Sure, it's a bit more money upfront, but in roofing you usually get what you pay for. Seen plenty of cheaper coatings fade out fast, especially if you're somewhere sunny or near saltwater. I'd say find a supplier who stocks Kynar-coated panels regularly; availability can vary by region, but most good roofing supply places can special order if needed. Worth the wait, trust me.

Haha, ain't that the truth? But seriously, is Kynar really THAT much better? I'm still learning the ropes here, and my boss swears by it too, but sometimes I wonder if he's secretly sponsored by them or something... 😂 Also, anyone ever had trouble getting special orders delivered on time? Our last batch took forever—thought we'd be retired before it arrived.
Kynar definitely holds up better in my experience. Inspected a house recently that had a cheaper coating—just 5 yrs old and already fading badly. But yeah, special orders can be a nightmare...wonder if it's gotten worse lately or just bad luck on my end?
Totally agree on Kynar—seen it hold up beautifully even after 10+ years. Special orders have definitely gotten trickier lately, supply chain issues maybe? Had a client wait weeks longer than usual recently...felt like forever. Still worth it though, quality-wise.
Kynar's definitely solid—seen it survive some nasty storms without a scratch. Supply chain's been rough everywhere lately, you're not alone there. Hang tight...quality always pays off in the long run.
