Yeah, moisture alone can be sneaky... I've had similar issues with a shed roof in a shady backyard corner. Thought basic galvanized sheets would be fine, but ended up upgrading after rust spots showed up surprisingly quick. Coastal-grade stuff definitely helps, even inland.

Moisture really is sneaky, especially in shady spots. Had a similar issue myself—thought I was safe inland, but nope, rust showed up quicker than ants at a picnic. Coastal-grade sheets made a huge difference though, worth the extra bucks for sure.

Haha, that's exactly how it goes. Moisture doesn't mess around, especially if you're dealing with shade or limited airflow. I've seen plenty of roofs that looked fine at first glance, but underneath... total rust city. Coastal-grade sheets are definitely the way to go if you want peace of mind. Sure, they're pricier upfront, but you'll thank yourself later when you're not climbing back up there every couple years to patch things up. Learned that lesson the hard way myself—nothing worse than thinking you're done and then spotting those sneaky rust spots creeping back in. Glad you found something that works.

Haha, ain't that the truth? Ever had one of those moments where you finish up, step back to admire your work, and then spot a tiny rust patch mocking you from the corner? Drives me nuts. Coastal-grade sheets are solid advice, but honestly, I've also had decent luck with galvanized sheets if they're properly coated and installed right. The key seems to be making sure there's no trapped moisture—good ventilation underneath makes a huge difference. Also, anyone else notice how some suppliers seem to skimp on coating thickness lately? Had a batch last year that rusted way faster than usual... lesson learned: always double-check specs before buying. Anyway, glad you found something reliable—nothing beats peace of mind when it comes to roofing.

Totally relate to that frustration, rust can be relentless sometimes. Good call on ventilation—seen plenty of roofs saved just by improving airflow underneath. Sounds like you've got it dialed in now though, nice work getting ahead of it.
