Our electric bill's been kinda insane lately, and I'm pretty sure it's because we're blasting the air conditioning all day. I've heard some stuff about special coatings or paints that reflect sunlight and heat, keeping the inside cooler without running the AC nonstop. Sounds a bit too good to be true tbh, but if it works it'd save me a ton. Has anyone tried these? Do they actually help much or am I better off just sucking it up and paying the bill?

- Tried reflective paint on my roof last summer, noticed a slight improvementβmaybe shaved off a few bucks.
- Honestly, better attic insulation and blackout curtains made a bigger difference.
- Have you checked your attic ventilation? Might help more than paint.
