Struggling to nail down the right heat for welding TPO roofing

Been messing around with welding some TPO roofing membrane, and man, getting the temperature dialed in is trickier than I thought. Too hot and it scorches or warps, too cool and it just doesn't bond properly. I've tried a few different settings but still not quite happy with the results. If anyone's got some tips or sweet spot temps they've found work well, I'd really appreciate it.
