So I was daydreaming earlier (yeah, slow day at work, lol) and thought: what if roofs could actually sense the weather and adjust themselves? Like shingles that tighten up when it's cold or expand to vent heat when it's scorching outside. Maybe even change color to reflect sunlight better in summer or absorb it in winter. Sounds kinda sci-fi, but also kinda doable, right? Curious if anyone can run with this idea or has heard of something similar...
