Roofing Adventures: Building a Storm-Proof Sanctuary

Last weekend I was helping my brother-in-law redo his roof - he's always been the DIY type, you know, convinced he's got everything under control. Well, halfway through, clouds rolled in and we got hit by this sudden downpour. We're scrambling, tarps flying everywhere, and he's yelling something about "storm-proofing" the roof.
