I’ve definitely used the hammer loop for a paint scraper when I’m up on a ladder painting trim. It’s not super secure, but it beats trying to wedge it in a pocket. One time I even hung my cordless drill there for a second—wouldn’t recommend that, though, unless you like bruised thighs. The loop’s kind of a catch-all for whatever you need out of your hands fast, honestly.
