Funny, I’ve had the same issue with nylon—snapped right in the middle of a drywall patch job, sent my hammer bouncing down the stairs. Leather’s been the most reliable for me, though it does get stiff if you leave it in the truck overnight in winter. Has anyone tried using the loop for a cordless drill? Sometimes I wedge mine in there, but it always feels like it’s about to tumble out...
