if you keep your hands dry and clean, the gloves seem to hold up longer
Funny how that’s true until you’re up on a roof in July—then you’re basically swimming in your gloves by noon. I used to think those cheap disposables would be fine for tearing off old shingles... learned that lesson fast. Now I keep a stash of thicker ones for demo and save the disposables for the quick, clean stuff. Still haven’t found anything that doesn’t get trashed during flashing work, though.
