Just spent the afternoon putting drip edge on my shed roof, figured I'd share what I did and see if there's a better way. First, nailed it along the eaves under the felt paper, then ran it up the rakes over the paper. Made sure to overlap at the corners to keep water from sneaking in. Sealed any overlaps with roofing cement, just to be safe. Dunno if that's overkill or not, haha. Anybody got tips or a smarter way to handle this?
Sounds like you nailed it (pun intended). Only thing I'd question is the roofing cement—might be a bit overkill unless your overlaps were sketchy. I've done a couple sheds and never bothered sealing overlaps, just made sure they were snug and properly overlapped. Haven't had leaks yet, knock on wood... Did you use aluminum or galvanized drip edge? Aluminum seems easier to handle, but galvanized lasts forever.
