attic door makeover: what's your pick?

Thinking about finally ditching that old creaky attic door and putting in something a bit nicer... maybe one of those insulated ones with the pull-down ladder. But then again, I've seen some pretty cool DIY sliding doors online too. Um, quick poll - what would you guys prefer: a fancy insulated pull-down door or a custom DIY sliding setup? Curious what everyone's leaning towards, cause I'm kinda stuck deciding here, you know?
