Been looking into roofing options lately and narrowed it down to Decra and standing seam metal. Decra seems pretty durable, but standing seam has that sleek modern look, you know? Curious what others prefer and why.

Yeah, totally get what you mean about the modern look - standing seam roofs always catch my eye when driving around town. But I went with Decra last year (first-time homeowner here, so take it with a grain of salt, lol). Main reasons:
- Super durable, especially with the crazy weather we've had lately.
- Surprisingly quiet during rainstorms - didn't expect that!
- Still looks pretty sharp, even if it's not as sleek as standing seam.
