After weeks of back-and-forth, spreadsheets, and way too many coffees, I finally bit the bullet and went with TPO roofing for our commercial building. Originally, I was leaning towards BUR because it's been around forever and seemed reliable, but man, the quotes were steep. PVC looked promising too, especially durability-wise, but again...pricey.
Ended up chatting with a buddy who recently did TPO on his warehouse, and he showed me the numbers—pretty impressive savings upfront and decent energy efficiency too. So far, no regrets. Roof looks solid, installation went smooth (knock on wood), and the budget didn't implode.
Curious if anyone else had a similar experience or maybe found a sweet spot with PVC or BUR that I missed? Always interesting to hear how these roofing adventures turn out for others.
