when the wind picks up, it sounds like someone’s shaking a tarp up there
That’s exactly what mine does when it gets gusty—thought I was being haunted by a very angry raccoon. I’ve wondered about the solid deck + sticky underlayment combo too. Seems like it’d be quieter, but maybe overkill unless you’re in hurricane alley? My neighbor did it and swears by it, but he also swears at squirrels, so who knows.
