Good catch on the recessed lights—I remember inspecting a place last winter where the homeowner had sealed everything up tight, insulation was solid, vents were clear... but still had ice dams. Turned out they had a bunch of older can lights leaking heat like crazy. Curious if anyone's noticed similar issues with bathroom exhaust fans? I've seen those cause sneaky heat leaks too.
