Stacking up those layers does help, but I’ve seen mixed results too. Fire-resistant soffit covers can make a difference, especially if you’re in a spot where embers get blown under the eaves. Swapping out attic insulation for mineral wool or fiberglass (instead of cellulose) is something a few clients have tried—less fuel up there if things go sideways. Curious if anyone’s actually noticed a temp drop or insurance break after making those upgrades? Sometimes it feels like you’re just adding cost for peace of mind...
