when your basement floods and you're kinda handy but also insured...

So imagine this: you wake up at 3am to the sound of rushing water, stumble downstairs half-asleep, and boom - your basement's turning into an indoor pool. Now you're standing there ankle-deep, flashlight in hand, thinking "I could probably fix this myself... right?" But then again, insurance might cover it without me electrocuting myself. Um, decisions decisions. What would you guys do in this scenario?
