That feeling when you shell out for insurance and still have to cough up a grand or two... yeah, it stings. I’ve seen folks get creative—one guy I know used leftover siding to patch a spot after hail, just to keep the water out until he could swing a full repair. Not everyone’s got the stomach for heights or the right ladder, though. Honestly, as long as you’re not dealing with leaks or rot, you’re doing better than most after a storm. Still, I get wanting things to look decent—those dents and mismatched patches can bug you every time you pull in the driveway.
