Been thinking about installing a solar-powered attic fan, but then got to wondering...what happens when winter hits hard? Like, say you get a massive snowstorm or weeks of cloudy skies, does the fan just sit idle? Could snow or ice buildup mess with the panels or even damage the fan itself? Just picturing myself climbing up there mid-January to chip away ice isn't exactly appealing, ya know. Curious how you'd handle this scenario or if anyone's had experience dealing with it.
