Swapping Out Roof Vent Boots With The Seasons - Worth The Hassle?

I get where you’re coming from, but in my experience, UV light is brutal on those rubber boots - especially on south-facing slopes. Upgrading insulation definitely helps with attic temps, but if the outside’s baking the rubber all day, you’ll still get splitting. I wouldn’t swap them every season, but I do check them every spring and fall. Sometimes it’s just luck of the draw on how long they last.
