Been thinking about getting a metal roof installed cuz I heard they're supposed to last way longer than shingles. But my uncle keeps tellin me it'll turn my house into a lightning rod. Sounds kinda sketchy to me, but is there actually anything to that, or is he just repeating some urban legend? Would appreciate hearing from anyone who's had one put in and lived to tell about it, haha.
