Okay, confession time—I just signed a loan for a new roof (yay, adulting), and I realized afterward that I barely skimmed the fine print. I mean, it was pages of tiny text, legalese, and clauses that made my eyes glaze over. I figured it's probably standard stuff, but now I'm second-guessing myself. Um, should I have read it more carefully? I'm curious how many of you guys actually sit down and read every single word before signing something like this.
Quick poll:
- Yep, I read every word. Trust no one!
- Nah, just skimmed it. Life's too short.
- Honestly didn't even glance at it.
- Had someone else (lawyer/friend/family) look it over for me.
