Got my final walkthrough coming up soon, and I'm kinda torn... do you guys usually go along with the inspector and hover around asking questions, or just let them do their thing and wait for the report later? Curious how most folks handle it.

I tagged along during mine, but didn't hover... just stayed close enough to ask about anything that caught my eye. Helped me understand the house better, honestly.

I get the logic behind tagging along, but honestly, I've always been a bit skeptical about hovering too close. Inspectors are pros, sure, but they're also human—sometimes they miss stuff if they're distracted by constant questions. Last time I bought a place, I stayed nearby but mostly let the inspector do his thing. Funny enough, he ended up calling me over anyway to point out some weird wiring issue. Makes me wonder...do inspectors prefer having us around or would they rather just focus quietly?
