Just found out something kinda interesting (and annoying). My neighbor had a minor fender bender, nothing serious, just a dented bumper and cracked tail light. Insurance quoted a payout that seemed fair at first glance... until the actual repair bill came in. Turns out the real cost was almost double what insurance estimated. Apparently, insurance companies use their own standardized pricing that doesn't always match real-world shop rates. Had no idea the gap could be this big. Anyone else run into this kinda thing?
