- I’m with you on magnets missing stuff. After my garage roof was done, I kept finding nails in the grass for weeks.
- Tried tarps too, but they just slid around or bunched up.
- Rain definitely made more show up—almost like the ground spits them out later.
- Ended up crawling around with a flashlight at dusk... found way more that way than with the magnet sweeper.
- Is there some trick I’m missing, or is this just how it goes?

- Had the same headache after my shed roof was replaced.
- Magnet roller barely picked up half of them, especially if they landed point-down.
- Tried cardboard instead of tarps—still a mess, honestly.
- Ended up just raking and then walking barefoot (carefully) to spot the last few... not ideal, but it worked.
- Seems like there’s always a few that hide until you mow or it rains again.

- Nails are like cockroaches—think you’ve got ’em all, then another one pops up.
- Magnet rollers work okay, but yeah, point-down nails are sneaky.
- I’ve had luck with leaf blowers to move debris, then a magnet sweep.
- Walking barefoot? Brave. I usually just get a flashlight at dusk—those suckers shine in the grass.
- No perfect method, honestly... just persistence and a little luck.

- Flashlight trick’s solid—those little suckers do light up at the right angle.
- Magnet rollers are decent, but I’ve seen plenty of nails hide in thick grass or mulch.
- Leaf blower’s a good call, but watch out—sometimes you just end up spreading the nails around if you’re not careful.
- I’ve crawled around on hands and knees more times than I’d like to admit... still missed a few.
- Honestly, unless you’re tearing up the whole yard, it’s always a bit of a gamble. Just gotta keep at it and hope your shoes hold up.
