I'm about to tackle my roof this weekend and got stuck on deciding how to secure the ridge caps. Some people swear by good old-fashioned nails, saying they're reliable and straightforward. Others are telling me roofing adhesive is the way to go—less chance of leaks and easier to handle. Um, honestly I'm leaning towards nails just because that's what my dad always did, but I dunno... adhesive sounds tempting. What do you guys think works better and why?
