- Had cellulose blown-in quoted too, but honestly couldn't justify the extra cost.

Fiberglass batts can definitely work if you're meticulous with the install, as you've clearly been. I've seen plenty of DIY jobs outperform pricier alternatives simply because the homeowner took their sweet time and paid attention to details. But just a heads-up—keep an eye out for settling or moisture issues down the line. Usually not a big deal if your attic ventilation is solid, but worth checking every now and then...better safe than sorry, right?
