Had to redo the flashing around my flat roof last weekend, and man, it was a bit trickier than I expected. I went step-by-step: removed old flashing, cleaned the area really good, applied roofing cement, installed new flashing strips, then sealed all edges with more cement. Looks decent now, but I'm wondering if there's an easier or better way to do this—maybe something that lasts longer or is less messy? Curious how you guys approach this kind of job.
