Last weekend, I borrowed my neighbor's power washer to clean the driveway and siding. Worked great, but afterward, I noticed some of my shrubs and flowers near the house looked kinda beat up. Guessing the pressure or maybe the cleaning solution wasn't too plant-friendly...ugh. Anyone got tips or tricks to keep plants safe when you're power washing nearby? Maybe some sorta covering or different cleaning products that won't mess with greenery?

Had a similar experience myselfβ€”pressure washers can definitely stress plants, especially delicate shrubs. I've found that loosely covering them with breathable landscape fabric helps, and switching to biodegradable, plant-safe detergents minimizes chemical damage. Saved my hydrangeas more than once...
